News:

It's already November?! Where has the year gone?

I need to start off by thanking everybody who for all the emails of support and encouragement recently. It's been very much appreciated and I hope to continue to hear from you all again in the future.

So what have I been up to since my last update here. Well you name it and I think I have done it recently.

It's Monday the 10th of November and I am currently sitting in the Singapore Airport on my way to the U.K for my first speaking Tour of the U.K. I am so excited and can not wait to arrive in London and begin this exciting adventure.
A huge thank you has to go to Deborah Parker for organising this trip for to and helping to make it all possible for me to spread my story and message into Blackpool and all over the U.K in general. All up I have 3 Presentations in and around the Blackpool area however I will also be meeting as many people as we can possible get to meet. I have a few relatives living in the U.K so naturally I'm really looking forward to catching up with all of them and also just experiencing as much as I possible can of the whole culture and sights that the U.K has to offer.
All up I will be away for just under 3 weeks.
As soon as I return it will be non stop go go go through until Christmas as I have a couple of presentations already booked. It all begins 2 days after I return home with a quick trip to Canberra to be apart of the Celebrations for the International Day for People with Disabilities. So that should be a great day as well.

I will also be Presenting at The Indy Foundations end of year fundraising event in Ipswich which again will be a great event.

I will definitely update this section as the weeks pass and fill everybody in on what I am up to and exactly where I will be Presenting as soon as all the details are confirmed.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to wrap this update up however before I go I just wanted to quickly give a big thank you to everybody who attended the APPA Conference (the Australian Primary Schools Principals Conference) thank you all for the wonderful feedback and for welcoming me so warmly at your conference. I thoroughly enjoyed Speaking at the conference and was blown away with the performance all the students gave. Thank you all again. I also want to give a big hello and thank you to everyone at the Brisbane Girls Grammar School. In Particular the Grade 11's and Grade 12's who I had the pleasure of speaking for. Thank you all for the standing ovations you gave after my Presentations. I was very happy I could work my schedule out and be able to attend and speak to you all. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into your classes and listening to me. A very big thank you has to go to Mr Gary Bromiley for helping to arrange it all and all the teachers and Principal for inviting me into your school. I look forward to hopefully do more in years to come with the School whenever I can be of value.

Until my next update.

Stay safe

Regards,
Dean
